Guilty Pleasure
Aichi Meiden High School's Band is.. great. Multi-talented people! They can sing and dance and play instruments like fwoah. Okay and we were just shouting encore a bizillion times till they had to announce "..and this is the very last song we are playing for you tonight". Note 'very last song' :D OHYEAHOHYEAH SO FUN SO FUN!

Okay I'm in a extremely hyper mood. I love my family and futuristic discussions hohowahahee :D
Has anyone told you lately about PE presentations! OHMYGEEEZ :D Considering that I'm an inflexible piece of meat and that I have zero gym (as a cca) experience, whether one month or two days! And I'm so proud for my group hah cause 5 out of 6 have at least 1 day of gym-as-a-cca experience (I'm that 1 out of 6 that doesn't). So yay yay yippee even though gym does not have marks in our PPR yay yay at least it wasn't screwd up like we imagined it to be.
And I'm still so happy ohmygosh. It's 11 on a Saturday morning now and in two more hours my tutor is going to come and I am going to announce to her my school next year. Just just just... JUST IMAGINE THAT LOOK ON HER FACE! Classic I tell you, she'd probably say something unoriginal like

Fantastic Four
T for Tomorrow, Tuesday, Tests (PLURAL PLURAL), Trouble.
We have spelling, Chinese Formal Letter writing, GEOGRAPHY TEST, Literature test.
Spelling isn't so much of a official test-test but STILL, really, wow, you know, you're welcomed. It's definitely only normal to train students aged 14 and younger to be best friends with their textbooks.
THAT'S THE TRICK ISN'T IT, to let us enjoy so much last week (as in only one test PLUS band break for us) and throw in everything this week! On Thursday we have Indian Dance presentation plus PE presentation.
T is for Two days later, Thursday, Tired, Trauma.
Really you know, don't mention it, I'm doing so fine I have time to tell that to you.
No wonder, I had this queer feeling of stepping back into my father's car right after walking through the gates of Avenue 2 this morning.
I'm tired, dirty and hungry. I can't wait for dinner to be ready, before Geography and I spend some more quality time together, hmm.

The Dark Knight
I watched The Dark Knight yesterday! I was nearly asleep while waiting for the show to begin but the action and everything was FWOAH. And there's a twist to the whole story but I'm not going to type the plot! >:D I think Lucius Fox (Morgan Freeman) is the Coolest Man alive! Since it's a movie, it IS possible for that one rich person to have such fabulous gadgets :D
Heath Ledger played Joker really well. Scared me out of my seat as well, with his constant lip smacking and glistening knives and "Let's put a smile on your face!" and "Why, so, serious?", wah seriously it's freaking sadistic and gruesome.
Wonder how I was watching the 1989 Batman just before going for The Dark Knight and thought it was scary. I'm glad they found more muscular Batmans and Rachels (but Katie Holmes was still better) over the years. And more realistic and threatening Jokers.

This week was a blast! Monday mug, Tuesday mug, Wednesday mug, Thursday mug, ohmygod Friday test! Even though I may mutate into a cup anytime soon I'm coping perfectly well with the Band Break week! No withdrawals, no worries, no study procrastination! Wow! Every sentence ends of with an exclamation mark!

Reverberating footsteps
Whoa not bad, nine days.
Even before the week ends, I can say it
is a rough week. We had a re-tingxie and Math test and most of the week was spent practising for NBC. And the Bumpiest Tuesday, when about half the world around me started telling me they were going for V(JC)IP.
I've been thinking alot about Saturday, whole week, during lessons, during bedtime - well, it's just tomorrow. How come I seem to be the only one being paranoid, as usual, cause I am sure it matters as much to everyone else. Probably I'm the only one being paranoid and
showing it. CJH WON'T BE TROUNCED, either way.
If I conclude my year now I can say that I've broken my resolution of not being influenced, not taking what others say to heart, and taking my own stand for once. And I just have to say "Next year, I'll try again" a few more times before I turn 86, possibly, years old.

So after dinner I
actually, surprisingly decided to sit down to complete my Math homework. That
unsurprisingly didn't succeed because I couldn't get PartB of a certain question so I was stuck. Horrible horrible. Then I took out my Geography Graded Assignment and completed questions here and there. But I'm still not done.
Ysee, I start so hurriedly and anxiously but when I stop it's like forever. Forever is great but flashbacks of certain pieces of paper (p to the p to the r) start popping up in your mind - then you realise that you can't exactly get into the colleges you visited this morning at Cambridge if you don't complete them. Life, isn't it!

Vacation / sights
It's about 9.15pm now.
Visited Shakespear's birthplace today, Stratford upon Avon. The houses and everything in those days were so cosy and quirky. And even though the floorboards creaked while you walk and make you feel really overweight it was still a pretty experience. The gardens were huge and I salute anyone who had the patience to keep such organised and colourful gardens. Well, I crossed gardener out of my career options the first time I saw a worm. Photography within the house wasn't allowed.

When we decided to leave the place later we visited Blenheim Palace on the way back. Within they palaced they mostly told you about Winston Churchill and his family. I also decided, I wouldn't mind owning a huge house like this. So watch out, the next time you visit my house you might just have to queue up at a little booth outside for entry tickets.

Vacation / wind in your hair
Capital 95.8 is the coolest thing ever, really. Even though the repeat the top hits throughout the day, at least they're repeating songs I like! Today's the second day of vacation, it's been a slackish and easy day.
I call this truly unwinding, because I haven't opened the book I brought along, and I haven't attempted any homework that I brought along, and I haven't had to plug in my earphones to hear some familiar music. Oh trust me, it feels good hmm.
I love Waitrose!

Vacation
I was about to post about how sunny and lovely the weather in London is, when it started raining
on me. Well, nearly, the rain was just a glass pane away. It lasted for about 3 seconds, then now its drizzling lightly...
It's just past 9am now!
The plane ride wasn't that scary, hah. But it was boring because the movies on board didn't really interest me and it took me so long to get to sleep. As in,
so long. The armrests couldn't be lifted, so even though there were two empty
tempting seats next to me, I was still squished in my own seat. And I couldn't lie back cause I didn't have strength to push the whole chair back (say, Loser!). Basically I was just sitting upright sleeping. I was also panicking when they reminded all the passengers to "return the footrests to their original positions", because I had no strength to push the footrest (or calf rest) back down (say, Loser!). But I managed it before the plane landed, anyway.
Did I mention, there were two families with toddlers sitting in front of me. TWO FAMILIES! That's why my night was so long.
NOW IT'S SUNNY AND LOVELY AGAIN!

POP 2008
So there was POP today! And I discovered horrible facts, like how Clean Colour makes my whole face sticky and eeeky, and how certain monkeys (namely those whose names start with Christine and end with Seow) can't keep still during phototakings, and how Laisum is such an absolute camwhore... But nevertheless! Congratulations, all post holders!
YES YES YES and I know I bake fabulously, and so does the earlier mentioned monkey and Weiyun! :D And we turned my kitchen upsidedown and insideout yesterday but ho, that was fun too!
& I'll miss the Sec 4s! Our section's become so small now.

Jubilate V
Playing Singapore Rhapsody on first night was quite fun. Everyone was so nervous behind the curtains and we were all so stiff. And when the first bell rang everyone jumped and got ready - only to realise that there were three bells through the intervals! And I spotted so many friends among the audience! We got the timing for the ending wrong but it was still okay, lah.
Then we were chased out of the holding area after that and Christine Laisum and I camwhored a little downstairs, while waiting for the concert to end :D Returned home at 11-odd. Then I had to rush everything, the groceries (will be mentioned later!), packing for the next day etc etc.
Then, Gala Night performance was so different! The ending was so WOOOH. And when we ended there was echo in the whole performance theatre. And we were chased out of the holding area too, and we all boarded the bus back to school. After packing and keeping our flutes, the section walked out and along ave2, trying to flag down 2 cabs (6 people!). And Ningxuan and I finally got on one after quite a while, and we cabbed to the hotel, leaving the 4 seniors behind to wait for another cab.
"That's it..?"
We were pretty shocked at the size of the room, but nevermind! :D Initially, after moving the study table and bedside table, we were planning to join the two single beds. But it was too heavy and stubborn, so we dragged the top mattresses of the two beds on to the floor, and created FOUR beds :D But the two original beds were hard and springy and ouch (Each time you turn a little, you bounce a little).
And so we went down to meet the seniors and bring them up. And we were all climbing on beds and tiptoe-ing in between mattresses trying to move about. AND WE SWITCHED ON VASANTHAM CENTRAL! And when we tried turning the volume up, we realised that the volume only gets louder in the toilet (There are speakers on top of the toilet seat in the bathroom, so that you know what you're missing out)...
I slept with my hair wet because I was too exhausted and impatient to wait for it to dry.
We woke up this morning and had breakfast, then placed all the mattresses and tables and chairs back to their original position. And we stalled for time at Central, looking at some exhibition, while Laisum and Samantha were shopping at Vivomart for our lunch. Then we took the MRT to Harbourfront and sent Ningxuan off and made Joy Tessa and Valery walk about by themselves while Ann and I got the Sentosa Express admissions.
FOLLOWING LAISUM'S INSTRUCTIONS IS PROBABLY THE HARDEST THING. EVER.
I got like how many phone calls telling me "WE'RE GOING PALAWAN CAUSE SILOSO'S SAND IS DISGUSTING!", "STALL FOR TIME! GO ROUND IN THE TRAM A FEW MORE TIMES!", "GO
INTO COSTA SANDS AND TURN LEFT, YOU'LL SEE A BEACH!". Hah beach inside Costa Sands indeed!
Due to miscommunication, we went in and out and in of the tram queue looking rather stupid :D And on and off and on the tram looking rather lost :D And up and down and all around Siloso Beach, trying to hunt for a certain
Palawan Beach outside Costa Sands, according to Laisum.
So they were on Siloso Beach all along! They just planted themselves at an area of the beach with nicer sand, and called it Palawan! WHOA :D And we had our picnic with visits from many many ants. And my phone blanked out on me from then on.
After lunch we queued up for Underwater World and went on the travellator twice. And got scared by an abrupt ginormous stationary fish TWICE! Okay, then we went back after that.

I managed to force some self discipline out of myself and completed 3 sets of holiday homework today! I've been attempting Math the past week and till now, I've yet to complete it. And I've mapped out a list of realistic goals for myself. Cross out the aspirations and earning tons of money, living in a mansion and travelling the world, and doing something achievable within a year, a semester, a term, or a month. It doesn't matter if I don't get into IP, I'm sure St Nicks will stretch me all the same. If I've done it before, I know it's achievable, SO GO CHOOJIAHUI!
I am going to wake up and everyday and read the Forbes Success Calendar on my table and tear the days out respectively (right now I tear them out 7 pages at a time).

Whole town under water
